Appalachian State University's College of Arts and Sciences and its STEM departments — Biology, Chemistry and Fermentation Science, Computer Science, Geological and Environmental Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physics and Astronomy — will host the first STEM Career Day on Friday, Nov. 13, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Reich College of Education 124ABC. The event is supported by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and App State's Career Development Center. Students will have opportunities to present flash talks and posters, attend industry panel discussions, and meet employers
