Appalachian State University’s Center for Appalachian Studies and Department of Interdisciplinary Studies will present the Mountain Mondays Speaker Series, a virtual series featuring scholars and community practitioners in the humanities and social sciences whose work explores mountains and mountain communities around the world. Formerly the International Mountain Studies Conference, Mountain Mondays will take place via Zoom each Monday from Oct. 12 through Nov. 23. Session times vary by date.
