The students of the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Alexandra Dee, present their first concert of Fall 2026 in the Schaefer Center! The performance is free and open to the public, with no ticket needed. The orchestra celebrates America's 250th birthday with repertoire including Copland's Appalachian Spring, Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915 (with Dr. Kellie Hill, soprano), and NEOWISE by App State's own Dr. Roger Zare.
